Yarn Talk with Krampolinka and Noezon

Advent is slowly approaching, bringing with it the most wonderful time of year for everyone who loves crafting. This time, we’ve received a package from Noezon filled with luxurious yarns, an Advent calendar, and beautiful knitting needles. As a special bonus, I also have a discount on the popular NATANA Rose and Star yarns for you. Come and take a look! I’ve got some lovely Christmas shopping tips to share.

Our package included KnitPro Symfonie yarns, luxurious Malabrigo yarn, the natural cotton Natana Rose that we already know and love, a creative Advent calendar, and a practical project bag. And with Christmas just around the corner, there’s plenty of inspiration for new projects, along with a special 20% discount on Natana Rose and Natana Star yarns.

20% Discount on Natana Rose and Natana Star

NOEZON has prepared a special 20% discount on Natana Rose and Natana Star yarns for all Krampolinka followers. The offer is valid from November 1 to November 8, 2026. For orders at Noezon.cz, simply enter the code NAT20KATKA. If you’re shopping at Noezon.sk, use the code KATKA20NAT. So, what makes these yarns special?

Natana Rose is a soft yarn made from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton. Each ball weighs 50 grams and contains 125 metres of yarn. For crocheting, I recommend using approximately a 3–4 mm crochet hook. Natana Rose is perfect for year-round crochet projects. You can use it to make baby clothes, toys, summer tops, lightweight sweaters, blouses, and various home decorations. You probably remember this year’s beautiful Rose Granny Square Sweater! You can find the pattern here.

And guess what? You can also use Natana Rose for many other crochet projects! Just take a look at my patterns featuring Camilla, Catania, or Cotton Queen yarns.

Natana Star is a blended yarn suitable for year-round projects. Each ball weighs 50 grams and contains 160 metres of yarn. Natana Star is ideal for delicate lace sweaters, hats, shawls, scarves, home décor, and toys. It resists pilling, is lovely to crochet with, and comes in a fantastic range of colours. I’m currently preparing a new sweater pattern for you, which requires 8 balls of yarn, so make sure you don’t miss this discount!

PODCAST YARN CHAT #137 – NOEZON AND ADVENT CALENDAR

DIY Advent Calendar – Christmas Full of Creativity

We started with a wonderful Christmas surprise! Inside the package, we found a DIY Advent Calendar that will make the entire Advent season even more enjoyable. The calendar contains bags filled with materials to gradually create 35 wooden Christmas ornaments. We can try macramé, embroidery, and decorating with glitter. The finished ornaments can be hung on the Christmas tree, used as decorations around the home, or added to Christmas presents. What I really like is the idea of setting aside a little time for crafting every day and trying something different from crochet. The calendar is also suitable for beginners, and children can join in the creative fun too.

The wooden display board with its little bags can be reused in the following years. Take a look here.

KnitPro Symfonie Diva

The first yarn we explored was KnitPro Symfonie Diva. This beautiful hand-dyed yarn is made from 75% merino wool and 25% silk. Each 100 g skein contains an impressive 780 metres of yarn, which means that just one skein may be enough for a large lace shawl. With two skeins, you could even make a lovely sweater in European size 40–42. Diva is perfect for delicate lace patterns. It would make a beautiful airy scarf or a lightweight poncho to wear over your shoulders. Personally, I would choose a simple lace stitch and a larger crochet hook to highlight the softness of the yarn and its gorgeous hand-dyed colours. Such a shawl would be perfect not only for everyday wear but also as an elegant accessory to a dress.

KnitPro Symfonie Bella

Our next discovery was KnitPro Symfonie Bella. This time, we had a hand-dyed yarn made from 100% extrafine merino wool. Each skein weighs 100 grams and contains 165 metres of yarn. The yarn is wonderfully soft and pleasant to the touch. Another advantage is that it can be machine-washed according to the manufacturer’s care instructions. Bella is suitable for sweaters, hats, cowls, and children’s clothing. I can easily imagine making a beautiful winter hat with a textured crochet pattern and a matching cowl. Another lovely option would be a simple sweater with a cable-inspired stitch pattern. What I love about merino wool is its ability to provide warmth without making the finished garment too heavy. Bella could also be an interesting choice for a crocheted baby blanket for a stroller. For a long cowl that wraps around the neck twice, or a wide scarf approximately 220 cm long, you will need around 5 skeins.

Malabrigo Dos Tierras

Many of you probably already know the Malabrigo brand. It is famous for its beautiful hand-dyed yarns and stunning colour combinations. Inside our package, we discovered Malabrigo Dos Tierras, a gorgeous blend of 50% merino wool and 50% alpaca. Each skein weighs 100 grams and contains approximately 193 metres of yarn. At the time of writing, Noezon is offering this yarn at a significant discount, with only limited quantities available, so don’t miss the opportunity! The yarn felt wonderfully soft, smooth, and pleasant to the touch, with a subtle sheen. I would use Dos Tierras for a warm beanie, shawl, scarf, or cowl. It would also make a beautiful simple cardigan or a cropped sweater. With such richly hand-dyed yarn, I would personally choose a simpler stitch pattern to allow the colours to shine.

KnitPro Symfonie2 Starter Set

We also explored the KnitPro Symfonie2 Starter Set of interchangeable knitting needles. This set includes three commonly used sizes of wooden needle tips and interchangeable cables. You can combine them to create circular knitting needles suitable for different projects. The needles have a smooth wooden surface that allows the yarn to glide easily, while the cables are designed to resist twisting during knitting. Of course, this was especially exciting news for the knitters among us! But I know that many of us enjoy both crocheting and knitting, so this practical accessory will certainly find its place in our crafting collections. And perhaps even in mine? We’ll see!

Natana Project Bag

The last practical accessory in our package was the Natana project bag, designed for knitting and crochet supplies. The bag is waterproof, holds its shape, and offers plenty of space for yarn, works in progress, and smaller accessories. One particularly useful feature is an opening through which you can feed your yarn, allowing you to crochet or knit directly from the bag. This is especially convenient for those of us who enjoy crocheting away from home. Whether you’re travelling, attending a crochet meetup, or simply taking your project along for the day, everything stays neatly organised and your yarn ball won’t roll away. It is also a lovely gift idea for a friend who loves crocheting or knitting.

Why I Like Noezon

What do I love about Noezon? Definitely the fast delivery! And when you browse their online shop, there’s always something new to discover or a special offer worth checking out. Their selection of yarns and brands changes regularly, and I find the online shop easy and convenient to use. Don’t forget to create a customer account and collect loyalty points, which you can later use to treat yourself to something lovely. Enjoy your Christmas shopping, and I look forward to seeing you again in the next podcast!

Happy crocheting!
