VLNAHEP BRUNO BIG – winter yarn for a giant hook ❄️

VlnaHep Bruno Big is a true winter yarn made for a big crochet hook. It is 100% soft acrylic and comes in a 200 g / 120 m ball (approximately 100 g / 60 m). This yarn is designed for large projects where you want to see results quickly – ideal for 10–15 mm hooks. I recommend this yarn mainly for crochet winter hats and beanies. If you want to use it for clothing, you really need an extra-large hook – I tested an 18 mm hook, and that is exactly the size you need for garments made from this yarn. When you crochet with a smaller hook, the fabric will be stiffer and denser. Crochetted clothing with Bruno Big, the fit will be very oversized and it suits taller, slimmer body types the most.

VLNAHEP TEDDY SMILE – super soft “teddy” yarn 🧸

Another new arrival in the package is VlnaHep Teddy Smile. It is a 100% polyester yarn in a 50 g / 100 m ball. Teddy Smile is beautifully soft and fluffy, and it works great for a wide range of projects – from toys to clothing. It’s perfect for vests and sweaters, but also for baby stroller blankets, pillows, socks, or even rugs and mats. Of course, it’s also ideal for toys and cuddly projects, because it feels warm and “furry.” With this type of yarn, keep in mind that the stitches are not very visible, so it’s best to choose stitch patterns where you work into spaces – for example half double crochet or double crochet stitches.

VLNAHEP SIERRA – 10 new shades added to the color range 🎨

The third new release is an expanded color palette of VlnaHep Sierra, with 10 new colors. Sierra is available in both solid and heathered/melange shades. The ball weighs 150 g with a total length of 450 m, and the fiber content is 80% acrylic and 20% wool. This yarn is ideal from autumn to spring and can be used for almost anything: scarves, shawls, wraps, cocoon sweaters and cardigans, cowls, socks, leg warmers, gloves, hats, and blankets. It’s easy to crochet with, holds its shape beautifully, and with the new colors you will definitely find the perfect shade for your next project.
