Daja Wreath Tutorial

23 listopadu, 2025

In today’s video tutorial, we will make a simple and quick wreath using Vlnika Daja yarn.

Vlnika Daja is a 50 g skein with a length of 42 meters. It is made of 100% polyester. The yarn is very dense and soft to the touch. It is perfect for eye-catching vests, sweater trims, hats, home slippers, and home décor projects. We have previously made snowmen from Daja yarn – you can find the video tutorial here.

We also introduced Vlnika Daja in the “Povídání u klubíčka” podcast, which you can watch here, and you can read the related article here. You can purchase the yarn at Vlnika.cz.

When it comes to crafting, today’s video tutorial is also perfect for those who don’t crochet at all. You will only need a polystyrene wreath base, Herkules glue, and a flat paintbrush. For a 25 cm wreath, I used one skein of Vlnika Daja yarn, and the total cost will be about 70 CZK. Plus, the crafting and gluing process is fun even for children. The wreath will be a beautiful decoration for the door, your home interior, or a lovely small gift for friends at work.

For decorating, I used ribbons, lace, buttons, snowflakes, and wooden cut-out shapes from Joom. The twig with red berries was purchased at Penny. To attach the decorations, you can use glue, a hot glue gun, or ordinary pins.

TIPS FOR YOU:
A wreath in spring colors can decorate your door or home even for Easter.
